it's very pretty, exactly as pictured. I like the shade of gold! A bit antiques feels in the shade. A relief it is not too yellow. I love the thickness of the pendant. The style of calligraphy is perfect.

I was introduced to Lillian through a mutual friend and fell in love with her gold Chinese character necklaces. I just had to have one for myself. I chose a bespoke by the yard necklace with 3 characters, each one representing my 3 children's chinese zodiac. That way i can have them close to me always, even when they are not near. It is also symbolic of our years living in Hong Kong. I wear it on its own or i layer it. Lillian made it with 3 possible lengths 18cm, 19cm or 20cm, depending on what i am wearing. I was very pleased with the craftmanship and the overall look of the necklace. I wear it almost everyday. It is very comfortable and light. The process of finding a meaningful keepsake for my daughter started with a thought of how to pass something to her that would last through the ages.
